TBR Acrostic: Poetry

I read 41 books in March and my TBR . . . went up by 7, from 265 titles on March 1st to 272 titles on April 1st. That’s not too bad!

I featured ten titles on last month’s acrostic and I read four of them (My Policeman; One Boy, No Water; All the Young Men; Thirsty Mermaids), DNF one of them, and have two others checked out from the library so hopefully I’ll be getting to them shortly!

For this month’s acrostic, I’ve picked POETRY, since April is National Poetry Month. I do have some poetry and novels-in-verse on my TBR, but of course none that fit into the acrostic so this POETRY acrostic consists of six prose titles. That strikes me as rather fitting for the way this year is going, actually.

So, what’s on the list?

P – Princess at Heart by Connie Glynn*
O – One Year at Ellsmere by Faith Erin Hicks
E – The Echo Wife by Sarah Gailey
T – Two Wings to Fly Away by Penny Mickelbury*
R – Red Heir by Lisa Henry and Sarah Honey*
Y – You’ll Never Believe What Happened to Lacey by Amber Ruffin and Lacey Lamar

*(Since this blog is all about LGBTQ books, but these acrostics include any title on my TBR that starts with the right letter, I’m starring the books in these posts that are, to my knowledge, queer. Let me know if I’ve missed any!)
