I read 40 books in February and my TBR . . . went up by 3, from 262 titles on February 1st to 265 titles on March 1st. That’s not bad! It’s practically staying level.
I featured seven titles on last month’s acrostic and I read three of them (Sasha Masha, Nonbinary Genders, Get a Grip, Vivy Cohen!), DNF another, and have another on hold at the library. That means I did something with five of the seven titles, which is a very high percentage for me!
For this month’s acrostic, I’ve picked MOTIVATION, which has been in short supply for me lately. I am having the hardest time getting anything done, which makes sense given the state of everything, but is frustrating nevertheless.
So, what’s on the list?
M – My Policeman by Bethan Roberts*
O – One Boy, No Water by Lehua Parker
T – Together in a Sudden Silence by Alice Quinn
I – I Kissed Alice by Anna Birch*
V – Vanishing Monuments by John Elizabeth Stintzi*
A – All the Young Men by Ruth Coker Burks*
T – Thirsty Mermaids by Kat Leyh*
I – In the Province of the Gods by Kenny Fries*
O – Opening the Road by Keila V. Dawson
N – New Transgender Blockbusters by Oscar Upperton*
*(Since this blog is all about LGBTQ books, but these acrostics include any title on my TBR that starts with the right letter, I’m starring the books in these posts that are, to my knowledge, queer. Let me know if I’ve missed any!)
